Soul age is a spiritual concept referring to a soul’s accumulated experience and level of spiritual development over multiple lifetimes, rather than its literal age. Individuals with “old souls” often exhibit a wisdom, perspective, and inner sense that seems to surpass their physical years, while young souls are seen as new to Earth’s evolutionary journey.

Concepts of soul age, including stages like infant, baby, young, mature, and old, are described in spiritual and metaphysical teachings, with some models postulating seven different soul ages, each with multiple levels to complete over various lifetimes. Soul age refers to the feeling that your inner self or soul has a different age than your actual birth age.

Some people feel much older or younger than they really are. “Old souls” often feel much older in spirit than their actual age. The answer is that souls can’t literally be given an age, however, figuratively we all possess different levels of soulful maturity. Soulful maturity is basically our ability to connect with the essence of who we are beyond our socially conditioned identities.

There aren’t really any rules to this except for being completely authentic with yourself when you decide to sit down and introspect. Your spiritual age can also grow as you do, physically and emotionally, or it may stay static for years or forever. So, happy calculating! No, you do not age in Heaven; instead, you are given a glorified, perfected, and immortal body that is free from the constraints of aging, sickness, and death.

While interpretations vary, common Christian views suggest people will appear in a perfected physical state, perhaps resembling a peak age of vitality like 30 or 33, allowing for recognition of loved ones but with immortality instead of continued decades.

Infant Soul: New to Earth, focusing on survival and gravitating towards nature, with a strong sense of fear and unfamiliarity with the world.

Baby Soul: Learning to navigate Earth life and find security in structure, often with a need for law and order, according to one analogy.

Young Soul: More sophisticated than an infant soul but still developing, learning to live on Earth.

Mature Soul: Possessing more experience and understanding of life, with interests that go beyond youthful pursuits, and often having a broader perspective on the world.

Old Soul: Characterized by deep wisdom, contentment with solitude, and a sense of being “out of place” in the world, feeling they have lived many lifetimes.

While there are no strict rules, you can reflect on your personality and perspective to gauge your soul’s age:
Introspection: Consider your overall life perspective and whether your inner feelings about life and the world align with your physical age.
Spiritual Practices: Deep meditation and past-life regressions are sometimes suggested as ways to access information about a soul’s journey.
Interests and Behaviors: Observe your interests do you prefer classic literature and deep conversations (suggesting an older soul), or are you more focused on immediate experiences (suggesting a younger soul)

You may feel a strong sense of trust, emotional safety, understanding, and acceptance with this person. Positive soul ties often bring comfort, encouragement, and a feeling of being deeply seen or supported. Unhealthy soul ties can leave you feeling anxious, codependent, and exhausted.

Baddhas are the people who are enslaved to the faculties and caught in the swirl of the sea of samsara, taking repeated births and deaths.
