Kids Activity Book Engine is a web-based book builder that lives inside your Elite Engines account. There’s nothing to install and no design work required. You choose an age group, themes, puzzle types and a book size. You type a title and a pen name. Then you press Build. The engine generates the puzzles, checks them, computes the answers, writes the answer key, and gives you a print-ready KDP interior PDF plus a full wrap cover PDF.
The key detail is how the puzzles are made. They come from code, not from an AI image generator. That’s why the mazes and word grids are designed to be dependable. Here’s what the engine handles for you:
- Builds mazes with exactly one path from START to FINISH
- Places every listed word in the word search grid
- Creates word scrambles and odd one out puzzles
- Computes the answer key and adds it at the back
- Prepares a KDP interior PDF
- Builds a full KDP wrap cover PDF
A broken puzzle is the fastest way to lose a parent’s trust. A maze with no exit or a missing word is the kind of mistake that ends up in a review. Because each puzzle is generated and checked by code, the most common failure points are handled before you ever see the file. That’s the core of the tool’s value. Every book comes with an answer key at the back. Answers are computed, not guessed.
You also get a KDP interior PDF and a full wrap cover PDF. Bleed, trim and spine width change with page count, and the engine does that calculation for you. Say you build a 50-puzzle book and then a 100-puzzle book. Normally you’d recalculate the cover each time. Here, the wrap cover is built to match the book.
For a custom cover look, the engine writes a detailed cover prompt for every book. You paste it into ChatGPT, upload the picture, and it builds the wrap cover with clean, correctly spelled text. If you’d rather skip that step, every book still comes with a ready theme cover.
There are three age levels:
- Ages 4 to 6 (Explorer): small grids and gentle mazes
- Ages 6 to 8 (Detective): diagonal words and bigger mazes
- Ages 8 to 10 (Adventurer): backwards plus diagonal words and the biggest mazes
These levels really change grid size, word difficulty and maze size. They’re not just labels. There are also 12 themes, each with its own word list and pictures: Farm Animals, Under The Sea, Outer Space, Dinosaurs, Jungle Safari, School Days, Yummy Food, Wild Weather, Sports Day, Things That Go,
Bugs and Beetles, Fairy Tales…
You choose an age and theme, build the interior and wrap cover, review the files in KDP’s previewer, then publish. Because the engine allows 45 books a month and commercial use, a seller can build a small catalog of themed books. Teachers and tutors can use puzzles with answer keys for printable practice. Printable shop owners can turn puzzles into activity packs. The bonus bundle includes a Printable Activity Pack Kit for this.
